The setting consists of 3 buildings. Our bungalow caters for children aged from birth up to two-years-old, we have a separate toddler building for our children aged two to three and our main building is dedicated to our preschool children preparing to go to school each September.
We have a highly qualified and dedicated staff team, who are committed to professional development, through in-house and external training. We are very lucky that our staff team have worked together for many years and have a significant number of years’ experience working with children in the early years age groups.
Each child is allocated a key person who will ensure your child is settled, stimulated and challenged whilst in the nursery environment; they are responsible for your child’s learning journey and will work closely alongside you to plan effective next steps to ensure your child is reaching his/her full potential.
We have a spacious outdoor area for all children to access and there is a dedicated space for our older children and a separate space for babies to play safely. We consider ourselves fortunate that our nursery is close to the local parks and the library as we love nothing more than going on trips to explore using our imaginative, sensory and physical skills as well as learning about the world around us.
We have a green ethos within our nursery, encouraging children to recycle and grow fruit and vegetables in our nursery garden which are used as part of our daily meals. We value parents’ input into our nursery and our nursery cook will work with you when planning our summer and winter menus.
