Safehands Nursery at Northwich caters for children aged from birth to five years old. We are centrally located on the site of Victoria Road Primary School and Victoria Road Children’s Centre. The nursery within walking distance of the town centre, and local shops and parks, and only a few minutes’ walk from Northwich Train Station. We are open for 51 weeks of the year with the exception of bank holidays.

We are a single storey building made up of three rooms. Our baby room caters for children aged from birth up to two years old, the 2’s room is for children aged 2–3 years, and our preschool caters for children aged 3–5 years.

We have a highly qualified and dedicated staff team, who are committed to professional development, through in-house and external training. We are very lucky that our staff team is highly qualified and has a significant number of years’ experience working with children in the early years age groups.

Each child is allocated a key person who will ensure your child is settled, stimulated and challenged whilst in the nursery environment. They are responsible for your child’s learning journey and will work closely alongside you to plan effective next steps to ensure your child is reaching his/her full potential.

We have an outdoor area for all children to access and a separate outdoor space for babies to play safely. We believe that children benefit from lots of outdoor learning opportunities and this is reflected in the free-flow access to the outdoor area. We also like to explore the local area through walks to the local parks and library.

We have a green ethos within our nursery, encouraging children to recycle and grow fruit and vegetables. We encourage a healthy lifestyle by providing a range of nutritious snacks and meals daily and can cater for any dietary requirements. We value parents input into our nursery and our nursery cook will work with you when planning our summer and winter menus.
